This product worked the first time and every time we used it. Could be happier.

Great aid for communication with deaf husband. Some design issues- straps and fittings very heavy and clunky to hold radio onto helmet.
- Why does wire come out the top of the speaker on the race headset? It would make more sense for it to come out the bottom, as the wire needs to go down the riders back.
-it would be helpful to have an indicator on the radio showing the level of battery charge

I love the concept of the Vertix intercom, it’s been such an amazing device to have on road trips with friends, I wouldn’t want to live without it! The only challenge I have with this device is that the battery doesn’t keep for very long. It says a 10 hour battery but it dies within the first 18 months, and it’s not a battery you can replace without getting another complete set.

There isn’t another one on the market, so until then - we will have to deal with it! Thanks Vertix for making biking even more enjoyable.

We bought this to use while riding our tandem bike and are prepping for some longer bike rides. I thought it would be a way we could both hear each other easily and give each other clues like coasting or breaking or turning. That’s very helpful on a tandem. I also wanted to sync it to my phone or we could listen to music as well. Unfortunately, we can’t do both at the same time it appears. You either are set up to hear each other or must flip it to hear the music or podcast. Since we need to be able to give each other somewhat emergency cues, we may not be able to do the podcasts.
