The short Mic cable makes it ideal for use with almost any helmets - Ski, cycling, rock climbing, equestrian, safety helmets, etc.
You can also jack in your 3.5mm cable from your Non-Wireless home entertainment or Sound Reinforcement system and use it as a wireless annoucement system for events or home parties!
